Mortgages could be a much easier process, but some companies won't give up their archaic systems and processes, so everyone involved has to suffer through "the old way". While we aren't in control of every aspect of the process, the goal is to simplify the things we can.

A little background on John Moran:

I grew up in northern Wisconsin and attended the University of Wisconsin (Go Badgers!). I'm thankful for the Midwestern outlook on life that my Wisconsin upbringing instilled in me.

After college I spent two years in New York, NY as a real estate agent in Manhattan. That was certainly an eye-opening experience for a young guy from the Midwest. I loved the Big Apple and everything it had to offer, but I soon found myself wanting a different way of life.

In 2001, I moved to Chicago, IL and began my mortgage career. After spending two wonderful years in the Windy City, I decided to take advantage of the better weather and a reduced cost of living by moving to sunny Scottsdale, AZ.

The decision to move to Scottsdale in 2003 is one of those life moments you don't appreciate as much as you should have at the time. I met my beautiful wife here and have made a ton of lifetime connections. After a brief Denver experiment in 2017, we are now settled in Scottsdale long term with our two dogs and we love it! In our free time, we like to go on quick weekend adventures, travel abroad, host friends and family (I'm the chef in the family) and visit my family in Telluride, CO.
